• Day 01 Kathamndu / PARO/ THIMPHU (7,700 feet).

    The flight to the Paro takes place on the first day and in a clear day from the flight you can enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains like Kanchenjunga, Everest and highest mountain of Bhutan the Jomolhari Mountain. The representatives from Bhutan will pick you up in the airport transfer to the hotel in Thimpu. After some rest and relax in the hotel, you can stroll around Thimpu. The road along the Paro Chu River can be an amazing evening walk for the trekkers or tourists. The major touristic sites for the visit in Thimpu are archery ground which is the national game of Bhutan also and other places are craft market, textile museum, national library along with zoo.

  • Day 02 THIMPHU/ THIMPHU. (7,700 feet).

    The fortress which is the glory of the area also is the first visiting site of day two. This is a huge building built by hand without a single nail. The memorial chortens for the memory of late King Jigme Dorji will be visited. The hiking of the Tango Monastery will take place in the afternoon. Other places to visit after hiking if interested are Drubthob Gompa Nunnery, Folk museum, indigenous hospital, and zoo.

  • Day 03 THIMPHU/ PUNAKHA.

    Another vibrant city of Bhutan is Punakha which we will visit on the third day of the tour. The Simtokha which is Dzong built by the man who unified entire Bhutan can be visited on the way to Punakha from Thimpu. The road encompasses the pine forests and Dochu La Pass which would give you the spectacular views of the Himalayas in clear weather. The Valley of Punakha is very rich for agricultural activities as well. The visit of the Chimilhakhang temple dedicated to Drukpa Kinley the divine mad man is highly recommended before checking in the hotel. The Punakha Dzong which is the ancient capital city of Bhutan will be visited upon arrival. The fortress in the Punakha Valley used to be the national capital until the date of 1966.

  • Day 04 PUNAKHA / PUNAKHA .

    The full-day exploration of the Punakha takes place including the hiking of the Khasumyulley.

  • Day 05 PUNAKHA / PHOBJIKHA VALLEY (9,800 feet).

    The drive of the about four hours will take you to the spectacular Phobjikha Valley. On the trail, you will have to cross the Pele La and provides the stunning view of the Phobjikha Valley surrounded by the Pine Trees forests. The place has the Black Mountain Nation Park and also links with the Royal Manas National Park which creates the place of alpine, subtropical and temperate ecological systems. The animals like Black bear, leopard, gaur, red panda, tiger, wild pig and birds including hornbills can be found in the region. The Gangteng Goenpa is another highlight of the Phobjikha Valley which is the famous place for head Lama known as the ninth incarnation of the Pemalingpa.

  • Day 06 PHOBJIKHA / PARO (7,300 feet).

    The journey then heads to Paro. The crossing of the Dochu La Pass would provide another panoramic view of the Himalayas. The journey of about 5-6 hours of the drive can be very enthralling. The Watchtower of Paro Rimpung Dzong and the Ta Dzong the fortress will be observed which used to protect the valley from Tibetan Invasions.

  • Day 07 PARO/ PARO.

    The hiking of the Taktshang Goenba takes place on this day. Worldwide it is regarded as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. This is probably the best place in Bhutan to visit. The architectural masterpiece is there for the tourists to see. The vertical placement and 2000 ft from the floor make it brilliant in terms of look. The rest of the evening and afternoon is for the free roam around the Paro.

  • Day 08 PARO/HAA.

    The Haa valley is the mystical valley of Bhutan. Another name for the district is Hidden Land Rice Valley. The major sightseeing tour of the Haa Valley is towards Black, White and Haa Gompa Temples. The temples can be found in the Miri Punsum which is the “The Three Brother Hills”. After the visit of the monastery and gompas, the visit heads towards Paro.

  • Day 09 Departure.

    The amazing tour of the tiny dragon kingdom of the South Asia Bhutan ends here. You will be taken to the airport for the departure.
