Nepal Hiking Trek Pvt. Ltd is an authorized, government-registered trekking company in Nepal dedicated to offering the best possible services to our customers. Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Nepal Hiking Trek and You (client) for the services provided by Nepal Hiking Trek. Booking a trip you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as well as the cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability set by the company. Both parties agree to these Terms and Conditions to resolve any legal or other disputes that may arise during the trip.

General Booking Contract
To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total payment must be made at the time of your booking. A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit. After receiving your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% non-refundable, we will send you a final confirmation receipt. E-mail us the bank reference number or remittance slips after you initiate the transfer.
Balance payment
In Nepal trips, The remaining balance can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu and before the trip departure.
In Tibet and Bhutan trips, final payment should be made 30 days before the trip start date.

Passport and Visas
Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. We will not accept responsibility if you are refused entry to a country or place because you lack the correct visa documentation.  Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport.

Travel Insurance
All travelers must travel with adequate and valid travel insurance. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover all the medical expenses, personal accidents, trip cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage, helicopter rescue, and air ambulance (if applicable).

Booking Changes/ Postpone

Written notice should be sent to us, and the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required.
If you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy, or jury service, you may postpone your trip or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. Your booking transfer to another person, there will be no options available 15 days before trip departure.

Booking cancellation

Cancellation notice must be made in writing, such notice commences from the day received. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving documentation.
If the trip is canceled 20 days or more before the departure date, the 20% deposit you made upon booking the trip with us will be considered a trip cancellation fee. This policy is effectively applicable right after you confirm your booking with us. The 20% deposit is nonrefundable.
If you have paid more than the trip deposit, we shall reduce the 20% trip deposit from that amount, and the remaining balance will be refunded to you via the original payment method.
There will be no refund for cancellation notice provided less than 20 days before trip departure.

Risk and Liability
We are committed to offering top-level services by performing our duties sincerely and seriously to make your holidays pleasant the free of hassle. However We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like changes in the rules and regulations of the country, any government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellations of flights, delays, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall have to be borne by the clients themselves on the spot. 
We are not liable for any refunds in case of any incomplete tour, trek, or expedition, whatever the reason from the customer’s side.

Privacy
Nepal Hiking Trek collects only the necessary personal information required to deliver the services, products, or information requested during the trip booking process, we have to ask you any questions to collect the necessary information from you to obtain permits and arrange your trip. No private or personal information that you supply to us will be used at any other time, for any other purposes nor will it be disclosed to third parties.
Nepal Hiking Trek might use the client’s photo and the videos to advertise on our sites, without any notifications but we will keep the personal privacy.
