Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu, the airport representatives of Nepal Hiking Trek will accompany you to the hotel in Thamel or as stated in the itinerary. The trip details will be discussed and introduction with the guides and trekking crew will take place.
Day 01 Arrived to Kathmandu
Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
Before departing for the amazing Everest Base Camp Trek we take you to the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES of Kathmandu Valley. Sagarmatha National Park is the world’s natural heritage while the places that you will visit today are the heritage sites with palaces, temples, stupas, living goddess Kumari house, etc. The places like Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square will be visited. For the Changunarayan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we can arrange the different package for you.
Day 03 Fly to Lukla(2850m) then trek to Phakding -3/4 hours
The journey will be the mountain flight as you will see numerous Himalayas right from the take off at TIA in Kathmandu. The airport is regarded as the world’s most extreme airports with a short runway between hills. Once you are landed you will meet the rest of the trekking crew members and start your trekking towards Phakding.
Day 04 Trek to Namche(3443m) – 5/6 hours
The trekking along the Dudhkoshi River and occasional villages along the environment of the changing forest is the highlight of today’s journey. Made famous by the blockbuster Everest movie the tall bridges of Larpchen near to Namche Bazaar will be full of adventure. The trail consists of the entry point of the Sagarmatha National Park as well as uphill and flatland walking in Nepal.
Day 05 Acclimatization day in Namche – 3/4 hours
During the high altitude trekking, the key to success is the qualitative acclimatization procedures. We always take care of our trekkers for their safety and successful completion of the trekking in Nepal. The acclimatization process includes rest in Namche and short hiking to the Everest View Hotel. You can see the various mountains like Amadablam, Khangtega, Thamserku, Tawoche, Cholatse, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest from the hotel. The overnight will be in Namche itself.
Day 06 Trek to Tengboche 5/6 hours
This day’s trekking is joyous with flatland and uphill trekking activities involved. The trail along the Kyangjuma until you reach Phungithanga consists of colorful forests of small trees while the uphill towards Tengboche is the alpine forest belt. If you are lucky you can see the Himalayan goat on the way too. The place Tengboche is famous for the monastery and spirituality.
Day 07 Trek to Dingboche 5/6 hours
You will pass by the crossroads at Pangboche where Amadablam Base Camp Trekkers and Everest Base Camp Trekkers get separated. The trail along the river and some of the best grassy meadows you will finally reach the Dingboche Valley blessed by Nagarshan Hill and Mt. Amadablam.
Day 08 Acclimatization day in Dingboche and Hike to Nagarsan Hill(5100m) – 4/5 hours
This is the second and final rest day during the entire trip. Dingboche acclimatization stay includes the activities like ascending of the Nagarsan Hill. Some prefer to reach the top of Chhukung Ri as well. The nice valley can also be used to observe the daily life of the tea house operators and locals.
Day 09 Trek to Lobuche 5/6 hours
Follow the Lobuche Peak and Pumori Peak all the way to Lobuche in this trek. You will leave behind the Lobuche Peak from Thukla while the Pumori view lasts until you have reached the Gorakshep. The memorial in the Thukla pass of many great legendary mountaineers will definitely create the spines on your skin. You can see the Kongma La Pass from Lobuche as well and it is one of the three high passes of the Everest region.
Day 10 Trek to Gorakshep-3/4 hours
Today we can see Khumbu Glacier, all trekking trail Nepali Flate see amazing mountain views.this is sort day but we need hiking trail high altitude better walk slow, we can see Pumari, Nupche close to our hiking trail.
Day 11 Trek to EBC(5364m) then back to Gorakshep - 4/5 hours
we trek further about two hours to the iconic Everest Base Camp. Take as many pictures as possible and leave your footprints on this place.
Day 12 Hike to Kalapatthar(5545m) for sunrise then trek to Pheriche – 7-8 hours
Early morning we trek to the top of the Kalapathar for the gorgeous sun rising from the basement of Mt. Everest and its neighboring mountains. The sight will be marvelous and fabled. You are required to take torch or headlight during ascending. After sunrise views the trekking heads straight to Pheriche in the other side of the Dingboche Valley.
Day 13 Trek to Khumjung – 6/7 hours
The normal trekking route is towards Namche while you will have already spent the two days in Namche before coming to EBC we will take you to the major Sherpa Village of the region Khumjung. Observe people’s daily life and experience the life of Sherpa closely.
Day 14 Trek to Phakding – 6/7 hours
The joyous trekking activities will have occurred in this phase. Most of the trekking trail is downhill and along the flatland at the banks of the river. Therefore, enjoy the nature on the way to Phakding.
Day 15 Trek to Lukla
Take the relaxed speed of trekking in this phase. The short distance trekking will allow you to reach Lukla early. You can roam around Lukla and enjoy in the eateries or bars of Lukla. Moreover, you can enjoy the trekking crew members with local food, drinks, and music.
Day 16 Fly back to Kathmandu
Once you are in Kathmandu after taking the mountain flight from Lukla you can roam around the streets of Thamel or major city centers of Kathmandu.
Day 17 Farewell Dinner/Leisure Day
This is the leisure and rests day during your trip to Nepal. You can either go shopping or hang out with friends in the eateries and bars of Thamel. Nepal Hiking Trek will host the farewell dinner with Nepalese cuisine and cultural program. The overall trip will be discussed and plan for future holidays in Nepal.
Day 18 Departure
Our Airport representatives will take you to the TIA for the departure. We will bid farewell and our trip ends here.
