After your arrival at Kathmandu, a representative from Nepal Hiking Trek will pick up from the airport and take you to the hotel.
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02 Kathmandu sightseeing
Today after breakfast we attend the tour to several most historical and spiritual attraction in Kathmandu like the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous "Monkey Temple" (Swayambhunath), Boudhanath and many historic Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03 Fly to Tumlingstar and then drive to Chichiri
We fly to Tumlingtar from Kathmandu after early breakfast and we meet rest member who will join us in Tumlingtar then we drive to Chichira, a small village of Gurung settlement. We take rest at Chichira and prepared for the next day trip. Overnight in Chichira.
Day 04 Trek Chichira to Num(1505m)
After the early breakfast, we head towards Num. Our adventure walk starts with a walk through the picturesque village and lush forest which give direction to the Num. Num is the village which provides great views of the mountain on both sides. Overnight in Num. (BLD Plan)
Day 05 Trek Num to Seduwa (1530m)
A walk through forests and terraced farms takes us to Barun River. We cross the river and move ahead to reach valley (Seduwa) where Makalu Barun National Park begins and where we register our permits. Overnight in Seduwa.
Day 06 Trek Seduwa to Tashigaon (2065m)
The village bounded by the Ipsuwa Khola on the west and Kasuwa Khola to the east. Crossing the paddy field and villages, we reach the beautiful village of Tashi Gaon. We enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan panorama. Overnight in Tashigaon.
Day 07 Trek Tashigaon to Khongma Danda
We will have a little tough day today as we walk in higher elevation. We will walk through forests, stone stairs, lakes, and cross the Kharha pass to reach Khongma Danda. Overnight in Khongma Danda.
Day 08 Rest at Khongma
In this day we will rest and explore the environment and the natural beauty of the area and further plan for the trek and prepared to walk in the high altitude. Overnight in Khongma Danda.
Day 09 Trek Khongma Danda to Mumbuk
We climb the Shipton la pass, cross the Lake Kalo Pokhari, Kele La pass we can see the charming views of Chamlang, Peak 6, Peak 7, and descend through to the beautiful valley of Mumbuk, Overnight in Mumbuk.
Day 10 Trek Mumbuk to Yangri Kharka
From Mumbuk crossing the lush rhododendron forest, we reach to the Barun river and the Upper Valley. We put our foot very carefully during this walk because the trial is very steep. Then we walk slowly in the High-altitude to reach Yangri Kharka. Overnight at Yangri Kharka.
Day 11 Trek Yangri Kharka to Makalu Base Camp
Following the trial from the Yangri Kharka crossing the lush forest, the field we reach to Langmale Kharka and the base of Mt Makalu. We enjoy the majestic Himalayan Panorama from the base. Overnight at Makalu Base Camp.
Day 12 Enjoy Makalu Base Camp
This day we stay at the Makalu Base Camp and enjoy the panoramic views. From here we can see the magnificent face of Makalu and the gorgeous views of Everest and Lhotse. We explore the lakes, glacier and collect the memory about it. Overnight at Makalu Base Camp.
Day 13 Trek Makalu Base Camp to Yangri Kharka
We descend down from the Yangri Kharka and cross the many small villages like Merek, Langmale Kharka, to reach to the Yangri Kharka. Overnight to Yangri Kharka.
Day 14 Trek Yangri Kharka to Mumbuk
From Yangri Kharka, we descend back to Mumbuk following the bank of Barun river, green field, lush rhododendron forest, rocks to descend down the trial. Overnight at Mumbuk.
Day 15 Trek Mumbuk to Khongma Danda
From Mumbuk we climb steep and move ahead towards through the dense fire forest and rhododendron crossing the Shipton La Pass, Kele La passes and descend to Khongma Danda. Overnight at Khongma Danda.
Day 16 Trek Khongma Danda to Tashigaon
The trek continues with a long and a steep walk cutting the hillside and crossing the lush forest and field which takes you to rich Sherpa village of Tashigaon. Overnight in Tashigaon.
Day 17 Trek Tashigaon to Seduwa
We leave from the Makalu Barun National park and descend down to the Barun river. We cross the hill, valley, and settlement. We move further to reach Seduwa. Overnight at Seduwa.
Day 18 Trek Seduwa to Num
In this day we leave Seduwa and further move to reach Num. The trials take you up and down and pass Sherpa village and forest to reach Num. Overnight at Num.
Day 19 Trek Num to Tumlingtar
We descend from Num and cross the Chichira from where we view the Mt Makalu for the last and move further to reach Tumlingtar. Overnight at Tumlingtar.
Day 20 Trek Tumlingtar to Kathmandu
Today, we fly back to the Kathmandu after a long adventure walk. You can visit or relax throughout the day and in the evening we will organize a farewell dinner for the success of the adventure journey to the Makalu Base camp. Overnight to Kathmandu. (BLD Plan)
Day 21 Final Departure
Nepal Hiking Trek representative will drop you at the airport and wish you a great and a safe journey to your homeland. And visit us furthermore too.
