Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary, You will enjoy the beautiful rolling hills and village in Lukla. After the wonderful day in Lukla, we start our adventure walks from Lukla to Phakding. Crossing the dense green forest of rhododendron, experiencing the beautiful Himalayan flora and fauna, cultural in-rich valley. Continuous walks through the unique landscapes take you to the capital of the Sherpa called Namche bazar this valley is the gateway to the Khumbu region. This valley is the culturally and traditionally in-rich valley and provides the culture and tradition of the Sherpa People and also offer the gorgeous views of the world highest and the iconic peak likes Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Makalu, and other surrounding peaks. In this valley, Everest Base Camp the visitor spends around two days to be more familiar with the Sherpa and their culture, tradition. We can also see the high influence of Tibetan and the Buddhist. We also cross the Tengboche and the Dingboche village. These villages are cultural in-rich villages and also we can see the biggest monasteries of the Khumbu region in the Tengboche village and walk through the Sagarmatha National Park. The natural site which is listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. Swayambhunath Temple

Swayambhunath temple is one of the cultural temples which is listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. This temple lies in the west of the Kathmandu city. This temple is also known as the "Monkey Temple" as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. They are holy because there is saying that Manjushree (who founded the Kathmandu valley and the bodhisattva learning and wisdom rises the hills where the stupa stands). He supposed to have long hair but he made it grow and the lice grew in this hair and there is saying that the lice of the Manjushree transformed into these monkeys. The stupa of this temple consists of a dome at its base and above it, a cubical structure painted with an eye of Buddha looking in all four directions. We can view the whole Kathmandu valley from the hills of this temple.

Pashupatinath is the very famous temple in the Kathmandu city which is listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. Experience of the highly religious hub mixing with the culture, tradition, religion, spirituals are the glory of this temple. This temple is located 3 km northwest of Kathmandu and lies on the bank of Bagmati river, Pashupatinath includes around 492 temples, 12 Shivalaya, and 12 Jyotirlinga to explore and visit. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is also known as the most important religious rites in Asia. It was built in the 5th century and later renovated and constructed by the King Malla. The Bagmati river near the Temple is considered as holy by the Hindu.

Boudhanath temple is located about 11 km far from the center of the Kathmandu. This stupa denotes the skyline and the largest unique structure stupa in the world. Along with Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath, it is also listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites and one of the most popular tourist. This stupa was founded by the Licchavi kings (590-604 CE). Boudha Stupa looks like a giant Mandala. This temple becomes one of the most centers of the Tibetan Buddhist and also the important place of the pilgrimage and the meditation of the Tibetan Buddhist and the Local Nepali and also the popular and the famous tourist site in the Kathmandu, Nepal.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

Durbar Square means the Royal Palace in the English language which is used to describe the area and the plaza opposite to the old royal place in Nepal. It consists of the temple, idols, water foundation and many more. Before the unification of Nepal by the king Prithvi Narayan Shah, Nepal consists of small Kingdom and the royal or Durbar square are the most prominent remnants of those small kingdoms in Nepal. There are three Durbar Square in the Kathmandu valley they are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. They all are listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites and also the famous tourist sites in the Kathmandu valley. There Durbar Square consists of the temple, idols, water foundation, open courts which attract the visitor.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 1st day: 

Landed in Lukla, we stop in teahouse have some tea/coffee. Having the breakfast we starts our wonderful trek crossing the beautiful pasang Lamu gate, near to the gate there is checkpoint their we need to buy some permit this day we are going gradually downhill Lukla (2800 meters) and Phakding (2600 meters), in these days we can see beautiful colored stone and the Buddhist region, together we can see the  Dudh Koshi where Dudh means milk and Koshi means river, this river looks milky and there is saying this river is milk river and following the route we arrive at Phakding. After reaching in this valley we have enough time if you like to experience the natural beauty you can go jungle walk, monasteries visit. Phakding have lots of tea house, there are no problems to get the room, this village is very famous for local wirehouse where lots of guide and porter stay the late night and enjoy their walk in this place.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 2nd day:  

Phakding to Lukla

Phakding to Lukla: This day is the adventure day and its quite long and we have to hike long day than other in this day, first 3 hours we hike Nepali flat which means little up and down, we cross the beautiful villages. Tok, Mango, Jorsale is our famous lunch place and there is no tea house between Jorsale and Namche Bazar. Mango has tourist checkpoint after this place there is not allowed to bring glass bottle eg: beer, tomato sauces, after having the lunch then we hike Nepali flat around 45 minutes then we reach to the gorgeous suspension bridge which is called as Hillary bridge, this is the one of the biggest bridge in the trekking. We capture our beautiful moment in our camera and starts our adventure up hills walk, after 1 hour continuous walking up hills we reached to the top hill, where we can be facilitates by the washroom and water facilities, from this place we can enjoy the gorgeous views of the world highest mountain Mt Everest and then in another 1 hour we trek to Namche Bazar, Namche Bazar is the capital of the Sherpa culture and the gateway to the Khumbu region you can stay at the Luxury hotel or in tea house, you will be provided with the good facilities in this valley.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 3rd Day: 

Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar (3464 meters). In this day it is better to wake up around 7:30 AM, have breakfast then hiking viewpoint around 45 minutes, we can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Ama Dablam, Mt Tawche, Mt Thamserku and the viewpoint have the museum which has the lots of information so don't miss to visit this museum. You don't need to pay to visit this. After visiting another 2 hour climb to reach Everest view hotel, on the way you can see the Sanboche airport, this airport is in the highest altitude in the world, you get the great chance and opportunity to see this airport, reaching in the Everest view hotel you can see the view of mountains after having tea/coffee we return back to the Namche Bazar staying at the good café having the lunch, watching movie about the climbing and adventure walk which is very heart touching and very nice. If you been to Namche Bazar on Friday and Saturday then don't miss to see the local market where we can buy all the thing and see the local people with the local product too.

Namche Bazar has the best apple pie please taste it once it's so good and tasty.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 4th day:

 Heading to Tengboche (4000m), this day hiking duration is around 6 hours, in first 30 minutes we wake up and then around two hours walk in the European flat hills Kyanjima, this path is built by 1 old guy, he has been 2000 times in this place and put a donation box in this path for the development of this place, he work himself after the few years he hires some workers now. He is 85 years stills while crossing this place please donate some amount in this box around Nepali RS 100. After crossing this road we walk to down hills around 1 hour, have some lunch in Fungi Tanga, after having our lunch we need to walk  up hills around 2 hours to reach Tengboche (3900 meters), this village has only 5 tea house so it is better to book room in advance, we can see the amazing views and the main attraction of this place is Tengboche monasteries this monastery is open every day for the tourist and the visitor and after 3 pm you can go and join puja and back to stay.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 5th day: 

Dingboche (4400) meters

Dingboche (4400) meters this day hiking trail is little downhills than Nepali flat and then again up hills trail. During our walk, we cross the beautiful village Dengboche, Phakding, Samare. Somare is our lunch place, to reach to this place we need to hike 3/4 hours from Tengboche, after having the lunch we been to Dingboche, this place is little cooler than others where we can see the beautiful Ama Dablam so close.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 6th day: 

Acclimatization day at Dingboche. Normally trekking guide, porter, visitors just hike little up back, sleep at the tea house. During in this village please go for the visit to Nagarsang hills (5010 meters) where you can see the amazing Makalu Mountain and other beautiful peaks which takes you up hills and down hills around 6-hour hiking.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 7th day: 

In this day we go to another cozy place Lobuche (4900 meters), Dingboche to Lobuche is around 6 hours hiking the first four hours is hiking in the Nepali flat. During our adventure walk we arrive at Thukla which is our lunch place, we had lunch and move ahead to Thukla pass (4800 meters). Top of the Thukla pass provides the beautiful views of the gorgeous mountain and also the memorable stupa during the pass to the mountain. Don't miss to visit.

Italian Camp

When arrival at Lobuche if you have extra time then please visit the Italian Camp where you can explore a lot of mountaineering things.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 8th day: 

Lobuche to Gorapshep (5028 meters) an amazing day which takes around 3 hours hiking in the flat and the glacier in the altitude so please walk slow and steady, take the breath and ahead to the Gorekshep. In the Gorepshe we have the lunch then put your bags in the teahouse and walk around 2 hours to the final destination Everest Base Camp Trek(5364 meters) enjoy the moment and capture the beautiful experience in your camera and return back to Gorekshep which need two-hour hiking.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 9th day: 

Splendid viewpoint Kalapather you need to wake up at 4:30 Pm and hike around 2 hours, you reach to the amazing place Kalapather (5564 meters) where we can see Mt Everest and other mountains so closely. After enjoying the close views of the world iconic peaks we return back to Pheriche and overnight in Pheriche.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 10th day: 

Pheriche to Namche Bazar which is all downhills walks but these days are a little short so wake up early and starts the hike and we will have our lunch in Fungi Tanga. Overnight in Namche Bazar.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary 11th day: 

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary last day, This day is our last day of adventure trekking. All the porter and guide expect some tips so please give them some tips around 10% of the total cost you pay. The porter and the guide want to enjoy the last day trekking with some drink and cultural programs so please make the porter and guide happy and enjoy the last day hiking by providing some drink if you like to.

Khumbu Glacier

During the day at Lobuche and Ghorapshe don't expect the luxury tea house during the Everest Base Camp this place have the normal teahouse.
