Due to the structure of the Everest Massif, the summit of this peaks is blocked by the Mt Nuptse from much of the surrounding region, the summit of the Mt Everest cannot be a view from its base. The Kalapathar is the attractive point which provides the spectacular views of the Mt Everest, Mt Nuptse, Mt Lhotse, Makalu with their summit.
