Nepal is the home of eight out of the fourteen highest mountains in the world. Trekking to Nepal means wondering about the unique nature and the beauty of this beautiful country. Kalapather

Kalapther is one of the most famous viewpoints in Nepal and is also a trademark of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Kalapather is also known as the "Block Rock". It is a beautiful landmark located above the Gorakshep on the southern ridge of the Pumori. Though Kalapther is not a mountain due to its unique slope it is very popular as it is one of the best views of the Everest (Khumbu)region. This point offers close and panoramic views of the world's tallest mountains. The views that you can see from the Kalapather cannot be seen from the Everest Base Camp itself. As the high summit is blocked by the MMT Nuptse from many places, so the complete and beautiful views can only be seen from the Kalapather.

The wonderful views of the mountain range like Nuptse, Lhotse, Changtse, and the whole of Mt Everest make Kalapather a huge tourist attraction. You can enjoy a glimpse of the many surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Normally, the climb to the Kalapther starts from the Gorakshep which is the last stop of your Everest base camp before reaching base camp. The trekking trail to the Kalapather leads to the steep walks, with a thrilling experience. The walk to the Kalapther becomes steep once you reach the wind-swept summit ridge. From there it's only just a 5-10 minute hike over the top until you experience one of the most attractive views of the region. The final destination to the Kalapather is about 2 hours trek from the Gorakshep.

You can see the Kalapather is the minor summit leading to the Pumori which can be easily recognizable as the ridge with beautifully vibrant and colorful prayer flags. The summit of the Kalapather is very unique compared to the summit of the other snow-capped mountains. Mostly the trekkers prefer to go to this viewpoint early in the morning so that they can witness the beautiful views of the gradually rising sun amidst the tallest snow mountains in the world. the views you see and the viewpoints you hike are some of the most inspiring and dream-like experiences in every trekker's journey.

Nagarkot

Situated 32 kilometers east of the capital city of Nepal-Kathmandu, Nagarkot is one of the most famous views of the Bhaktapur. It is one of the most attractive views points which is located within the capital city, this point is also known for the incredible sunrise and sunset with the panoramic views of the whole Kathmandu valley. Standing at an elevation of 2,195 meters-it is known for the sunrise views of the snow-capped mountains including Mt Everest as well as the other peaks of the Himalayan ranges of eastern Nepal. 8 mountain ranges out of the 13 Himalayan ranges can be seen from the Nagarkot including the Annapurna Ranges, the Manaslu Ranges, the Langtang ranges, the Ganesh, Rolwaling ranges, the Mahalangur ranges (Everest ranges), and also the Number ranges with the beautiful views of the Kathmandu valley and the wonderful Shivapuri National Park. Gokyo Ri

Gokyo Ri has the most beautiful views but it is infamous and the less-visited viewpoint which is at the Everest region standing at an elevation of 5,483 meters. This viewpoint is located on the west side of the Ngozumpa glacier which is known as the largest glacier in Nepal. you can reach the Glacier lakes but you should customize your Everest region packages as this viewpoint is quite far from the Everest Base Camp and Mt Everest and is surrounded by the Gokyo lakes of the country. Gokyo is a small and beautiful village and also it is the base of the viewpoint, which consists of the largest settlement in the high altitude in the world. the viewpoint offers panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains above 800 meters including Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Cho Oyu, and Makalu. It is also said that the views from this point are far better than the views from the beautiful Kalapather.

The adventurous Gokyo Lake trekking is one of the popular trekking routes which is also the alternative route of the famous Everest Base Camp Trek and the world's highest freshwater lake-Gokyo Lake is at the base of this viewpoint and retrace their steps back to the trailhead. And you heard the saying that the Everest Gojyo Lake trekking is much more beautiful than the Everest Base Camp Trek.

Pikey peak

Pikey Peak is also one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the country which is very close to the crowded Everest. These peaks offer magnificent views of the most beautiful Mt Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu, with the best of the Sherpa culture and the Himalayan scenery.

Trekking to these peaks, you can see the two-summit one is Goley-Pikey and the other is Chawa-Pikey. This name is derived from the Sherpa language. Peaky is the smallest mountain in the Everest region (lower Solu Khumbu ), standing at an altitude of 4065 meters. This danda and trek to this region are less famous as well and fewer visits trek through the Annapurna but still, it offers the breathtaking views of the giants Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Bhara Shikhar, Annapurna I, Machhapuchre, and many other surrounding peaks. The trek to this region is off-began and quite unvisited but it offers breathtaking views of the snow mountains, trekking to the region offers you a good environment to interact with the locals, visit the Khayar Lake which is considered sacred by the Hindus, visit the high pastures and the temporary herder's settlement, and walks through the rhododendrons forest through the Tibetan-like villages along the ridge.

Sarangkot Danda

Sarangkot is the famous viewpoint in Nepal as well as the most popular trekking destination from where tourists can enjoy the beautiful views of the Pokhara Valley and the stunning views of the mountains including Annapurna Massif, Mt Fishtail, Dhaulagiri ranges, and the Manaslu. This point also provides panoramic views of the Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lakes, and the highest view-point at 1592 meters high for the sunrise and sunset view over the snowy peaks. Sarangkot can be reached easily with the 45-minute car ride to the top hills from the Pokhara and around 45 45-minute hike up to the main viewpoint.
